My name is Sylvia Nabaterega, and I am 17 years old. I am very thankful to be supported by Dee's Hope. After I finished primary school, my dad wanted me to go and start being a house girl because he didn't want me to go back to school. I have seven half-siblings, and I am the second oldest in the family. I told my mom that I want to go to school, and I don't want to be a house girl. My mom didn't have money, and through our shared house, she found out about Dee's Hope though her friend. Dee's Hope has been supporting me for the last four years. They pay for my school fees and all the school requirements.
Without Dee's Hope, I would probably be a house girl, and at this age, my dad would find me a man to marry. I am very thankful and blessed to be part of Dee's Hope. Because of Dee's Hope, I can have a bright future. Thank you, Dee's Hope, for helping girls like me.
