My name is Jane Namakura, and I am 10 years old. I am the third oldest in my family. My mom has been struggling since my dad left us. My mom sells milk for a living. Right now, my mom is focusing on my two older sisters to pay for their school fees so they can finish high school. I stay home and take care of my three younger siblings while my mama is going door-to-door to try to sell milk. I love my siblings, but I don’t like to stay home taking care of them while my friends are at school learning. I hope next year there will be a space for me to join Dee’s Hope for Girls so that I can go to school just like my friends.
